Thank you for visiting my website. I ran for re-election as your State Representative because the current state of affairs in the political world is troubling. Divisions amongst the electorate on societal issues have never been so clear. Partisanship and demagoguery, quite frankly, have become so strong that the basic fundamentals of the political process are beginning to weaken. If the last several years have taught us anything, its that democracy needs constant nourishment to remain strong - and if ignored, will crumble and chip away.  

That is why leadership on the state level has never been so important. The people of New Bedford deserve someone who will take the initiative for bold solutions. The people of the 11th Bristol District deserve a fighter who will work tirelessly on issues that matter, such as diminishing opioid dependence and reversing wage stagnation. The days that lie ahead will require solutions to new economic troubles such as inflation, automation and AI, and a shrinking labor market. They will require solutions to a vulnerable education system. And, without a doubt, they will require someone who will face these issues with urgency, pragmatism, and teamwork. This is not the time for passive leadership. And this is certainly not the time for passive citizenship. 

This is why I sought your support of my candidacy for State Representative of the Bristol 11th district in 2024. Having represented hundreds of injured workers at the Department of Industrial Accidents - and continuing to do so - I know what’s required to fight for the interests of the citizens of New Bedford. Sticking up for those against long odds is what I do best. It has always been a mission of mine and once again, thankfully, as of November 2024, it will remain a mission of ours for the next few years to come.
